How to Qualify for the SSC CHSL Exam
A person must meet three important requirements to be able to take the SSC CHSL 2024 test. Here are the three parameters:
Home country
The person running must be either
(a) an Indian native, or
(b) a citizen of Nepal or Bhutan, or
(c) a Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, with plans to stay there forever; or
(d) “Indian” means someone who is from India and has moved to India permanently from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam.
Max Age for SSC CHSL (as of August 1, 2024)
For the SSC CHSL jobs, you must be between the ages of 18 and 27. Candidates who were born between August 2, 1997, and August 1, 2006, can apply. For different groups, the upper age limit can be lowered in the following ways:
Education Level (as of August 1, 2024)
For LDC/JSA and DEO/DEO Grade “A” (except DEOs who work in the Office or Ministry): Those who want to take the CHSL 2024 exam must have passed the 12th Standard or a test that is equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
For the job of Data Entry Operator (DEO) or DEO Grade “A” in the Ministries of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, and Culture, you must have passed your 12th grade in the science stream with math as a topic from a recognized board or an equivalent qualification.
Exam Pattern for SSC CHSL 2024
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will begin holding the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) in two levels for several different jobs:

Keep in mind that the test pattern and syllabus have changed since the last time you took the SSC CHSL. Here are the changes that have been made to the SSC CHSL Exam Pattern 2024:
- The SSC CHSL Tier 1 test for 2024 will be given online.
- The start of a 100-point detailed paper that must be turned in by hand in 60 minutes.
- The time allowed to take the Tier-I test has been cut from 75 minutes to 60 minutes.
- Objective Multiple Choice, a Skill Test, and a Typing Test will make up Tier II.
The test will be fair and take place online. At the SSC CHSL Exam Tier 1, there are 4 parts with a total of 100 questions. The total number of marks is 200. Here are the specifics for each subject:

SSC CHSL 2024 Course Outline
There are four topics on the tier 1 syllabus for the SSC CHSL 2024 Exam: General Intelligence, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude (Basic Arithmetic Skill), and English Language (Basic Knowledge). Here are the items that will be on the tier 1 exam for each subject:

General Intelligence: This would include both spoken and unspoken questions. There will be questions on Space Orientation, Semantic Classification, Venn Diagrams, Symbolic/Number Classification, Drawing Inferences, Figural Classification, Punched Hole/ Pattern Folding & Unfolding, Semantic Series, Figural Pattern-folding and completion, Number Series, Embedded figures, Figural Series, Critical Thinking, Problem Solving, Emotional Intelligence, Word Building, Social Intelligence, Coding and decoding, and any other sub-topics that are covered.
Number systems, basic math processes, algebra, geometry, measuring, trigonometry, and statistical charts are all examples of quantitative aptitude.
General Awareness: The questions are meant to see how much the candidate knows about the world around him and how it affects society.
The questions are also meant to see how much you know about current events and everyday things you see and do that have a scientific side to them as you would expect from someone who has learned. There will also be questions about India and its neighbors on the test, mainly about history, culture, geography, the economy, general policy, and scientific research.
Important Things:
- In the SSC CHSL 2024 Tier 1 Exam, there are bad marks. Everyone will lose half of their points if they give the wrong answer to a question.
- People who are blind or have low vision have 75 minutes to complete the test.

SSC CHSL Call Letter 2024
Anyone who applies for the SSC CHSL Exam 2024 by the due date will be given an e-admit card, also known as a hall ticket or call letter, which can be downloaded from the SSC website.
The admit card for the CHSL Tier-1 exam will be released first, then the admit card for the CHSL Tier-2 exam, which will only be given to people who passed the Tier 1 test.
